After our recent success in Melbourne, Dan and I will be hosting a workshop on the Gold Coast!! We received a lot of interest requesting a workshop up north so Dan and I thought we’d get one underway while we still have a bit of time before the crazy Christmas period. We will be hosting 10 photographers for a 3 hour workshop with 2 incredible models. Similar to our Melbourne event, we’ll cover everything from how we work with models, communication, direction, using natural light, framing, utilising the location, camera settings and the list goes on. We are an open book and always happy to answer any questions and share the knowledge we have.
Date and Time:
Saturday 16th of November | 2:30pm – 5:30pm
Location:
We are super excited about this location! Dan and I have secured a 3 bedroom room at the amazing and newly renovated Ventura Beach Motel in Mermaid Beach. With interiors and surrounds to die for, we’ll be utilising both so there will be lots to learn and discover (there may be other guests using the communal areas so utmost respect will be given to them)

Models:
Even more exciting are the two brilliant and well established models that will be joining us. Maddie Neville and Kate Alexandra. Shooting with experienced models can play a big part in learning and developing your skills. Everyone will have the opportunity to shoot with Maddie and Kate in a range of fashion, portrait, implied and semi nude concepts so not only will this be a great learning experience but a great chance to add some exciting images to your portfolio.
The Experience:
If you haven’t met Dan or myself before, you’ll quickly realise that we like to have some fun, enjoy a laugh and create an environment where people can be themselves and absorb as much as possible. We both shoot very relaxed but are serious when it comes to matters that we feel strongly about. You’ll have the chance to shoot with Maddie and Kate together as well as individually. We’ll be providing plenty of light snacks and drinks as well as shooting music 😉
